Helping the unemployed to move from welfare to self-reliance through promoting the development of social enterprises in Hong Kong is one of the work priorities of the Commission on Poverty. Social enterprises could bring benefits to the society, including assisting the unemployed to enter the labour market by providing them with a real-work training and work opportunities. |
